One fine morning
I woke up as a routine
Went ahead with repetitive chores
As if I was a machine
Everything about that day
Appeared so NORMAL
Kids were rushing to school
All dressed up in formal.
Birds were chirping, flowers did blossom
The grass was lush green
I wasn’t able to get my eyes off
From the beautiful garden scene.
Suddenly a realization came to my mind
How beautifully each day we all can live
There are millions on the receiving end
Felt fortunate I had plenty to give.
That day I made promise to myself
To love them NOW from my heart’s core
Might be in the end when I’ll look around
They’ll be NO MORE!
