Life is a beautiful journey full of amazing experiences. Life offers us different situations and events to face and we gradually learn from all those situations and in due course that become our experiences which form our attitude towards life and shape our personality.
In every phase of life and at every step we have to appear in tests, some may be class tests and few may be final exams, for few we might have multiple choices available while majority of them have open ended questions, which we have to solve using our intelligence, competence and understanding of life. For a child who is studying in second standard, the test paper might seem difficult, still he tries his best and appears in the test, scores good marks and gets promoted to third standard. For time being he relaxes unaware of the fact that again he has to study the syllabus of third standard and appear in test paper, a bit difficult than the earlier one. Getting promoted to next level never means no more tests to appear, rather it reduces the monotony of appearing in same test paper repeatedly and opens more avenues to explore and gives confidence of achieving and celebrating the success of first level.
There are two types of people. One who will always say “Why me”? And the second one who will always say “Why can’t me”? First types of people are always afraid to appear in tests and try to look for futile ways to skip from the tests of life and consequently get entangled in the vicious circle of same tests again and again, as they don’t appear and get promoted to the higher level. They become so negative that they not only start blaming people around them but also the almighty for their situation. Gradually they acquire jealousy, hatred, anger and many more negative qualities which make their personality as a bitter person.
Second types of people are full of energy and they appear in tests offered by life with open heart and full enthusiasm. With a very optimistic view towards life they learn every lesson of life very patiently and get a promotion for the next level with all the new traits acquired to face the higher level tests which are ahead of them. They are smart enough to take the responsibility of everything that is happening around them. And as time passes they become a person with love, purity, compassion, generosity, peace and happiness which gradually shape them as a better person.
One thing which is sure is that we all have to face the tests of life; no matter how hard we try we cannot escape from it. Now the choice is ours whether to appear and pass it with enthusiasm and full confidence or be afraid about the end results and keep cursing our destiny. The choice is ours to become a bitter person or a better person.
